Concert: Nick Cutroneo-Classical Guitar at the Labyrinth Brewing Company
Each first Sunday of the month, Nick Cutroneo plays solo classical guitar at the Labyrinth Brewing Company. Head over to Labyrinth for a relaxing Sunday afternoon of music and a great glass of beer.
Mr. Cutroneo, known for being a "communicative player with natural musicality", has studied with Antigoni Goni at Juilliard, and earned his Bachelors and Masters in Guitar Performance at The Hartt School of Music. He currently serves on the faculty at Central Connecticut State University, and maintains his private teaching studio, Nick Cutroneo Guitar Studio.

Monthly Meeting of the New England Guitar Society
Activities can include masterclasses, lectures by guests and members, informal solo and ensemble performances by members, ensemble readings, member recitals and lively discussion about the classical guitar. New comers of all levels are welcome. NEGS meets monthly on second Sunday afternoons at 2 PM in the Milford Center for the Arts concert hall or the Firehouse Gallery.

Festival: Classical Guitar Solstice Symposium 2019
The Candlewood Fram Arts Foundation presents Solstice Symposium 2019 for classical guitar. With private lessons, master classes, receptions and evening concerts available to all registered participants, Solstice Symposium 2019 will take place over four days at two venues in Connecticut, and offers expert instruction and performances by master guitarists, including: Jan Bartlema (Netherlands), Patrick Kearney (Canada), Christopher Ladd (Hartt School), Joseph Plamer (USA), and Andrew Zohn (Columbus State, Georgia).
Locations: The Taft School, Watertown, CT, and Candlewood Farm, Higganum, CT
Cost: $200 for instruction, master classes, and all concerts.
(Masterclasses can be attended separately on a fee basis.)

The Hartt School presents international concert artist Scott Tennant, Hartt guitar department founder Richard Provost, and department faculty Christopher Ladd and Peter Clemente in a week of masterclasses, workshops and performances. This event is open to classical guitarists of all levels and aspirations who desire to improve and refine their playing and performance skills. Limited to 15 participants.

Marlborough Arts Center - 4th Friday @ the Arts Cafe presents classical guitarist Nick Cutroneo in a concert titled "Old and New Legends." Nick studied with Antigoni Goni at Juilliard, and earned his Bachelors and Masters in Guitar Performance at The Hartt School. In addition to serving on the CCSU faculty, Nick maintains his private teaching studio, Nick Cutroneo Guitar Studio.
Program: Works by Colin Britt, Dyens, Andrew York, Rodrigo, Wallace, and Tedesco.

Concert: Duo Orfeo, Joseph Ricker & Jamie Balmer
Playing a rare and eclectic repertoire on both classical and electric guitars, Duo Orfeo, Jamie Balmer and Joseph Ricker draws their repertoire largely from hidden and under-explored byways of western musical tradition both past and present, ranging from Renaissance lute and French harpsichord music, to compositions by modern masters such as Arvo Part and others.
